Player Bio: Kayne van Oevelen

Kayne van Oevelen's arrival on loan from Ipswich Town FC gives Valencia CF further options in the goalkeeping position, with a proven talent between the sticks.

THE 2025/26 AND 2024/25 SEASONS

The young Dutch goalkeeper played for FC Volendam, starting in the 2021/22 season at youth level and going on to establish himself in the first team. He achieved promotion to the Eredivisie in the 2024/25 season.

In total, he has played over 60 official games in the past two seasons. 

DEVELOPMENT IN THE NETHERLANDS

Van Oevelen was a youth player for Amsterdamsche FC's Under-18s team before joining FC Volendam. After a standout performance with their Under-21s side, he became the first-team goalkeeper in the 2024/25 season, in which they won the Eerste Divisie title and achieving promotion to the Eredivisie.
